Classical String Guitars

Yamaha’s NX nylon-string guitars are brand new.

Yamaha Guitars has launched the NX Collection, a new line of acoustic electric nylon string guitars. Yamaha has produced something different from the oldest and most common guitars with the NX series, demonstrating that nylon string guitars aren’t just for nylon string players.

From the workhorse NTX700 to the handcrafted NCX2000, the NX Series offers a choice of NT contemporary thinline or NC conventional body shapes, traditional classical or crossover neck profiles, body wood options, and spec levels, including Yamaha’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (ARE) technology. Right out of the box, this technology gives guitars a more matured (as in aged) sound!

The NX collection includes the latest iteration of Yamaha’s proprietary ART (Acoustic Resonance Transducer) pickup system, in a completely nylon-specific configuration, as well as Yamaha’s class-leading construction including quality tonewoods, ultra-thin finishes, and professional setups.

Yamaha NX

Yamaha NX guitars were designed to provide a variety of performance instruments that not only show that nylon strings are a tone that every guitarist should have, but also make those tones more available and functional than ever before.

I ordered this guitar as a backup to my Multiac ACS, which I purchased using around a year ago. I just charged $100 more for this one when it was brand new. The guitars are almost similar in terms of sound. Whatever Godin is up to, he’s doing it correctly. For several years, my main electric has been a Godin, and it also plays like a dream. I can’t say enough good things about them. Music Farm, an Amazon seller, also gave me a great deal. The guitar arrived in excellent condition within a few days. I’m happy.

The ACS combines conventional classical elements with contemporary solid-body elements. This synth access guitar features an extremely comfortable neck, a chambered silverleaf maple body, and a highly figured flamed maple leaf top for stunning looks. Despite the fact that the body is chambered, the maple top responds more like a solid body design than a conventional acoustic guitar. Because of this nature, the instrument is practically feedback-free, making it easy to play even when the band gets noisy. Individual transducer saddles are driven by a customised RMCTM Pickup Company preamp system in the ACS-engine. SA’s This device not only produces excellent amplified sound, but also a hexaphonic output through a 13-pin connector, allowing direct connection to RolandTM GR-Series guitar synthesisers.
